Car Trouble Update
My very nice neighbour who is a "hobby mechanic" came over to look at my car the other night and pronounced my alternator "fit as a fiddle"! He thinks the dealership is trying to soak me for an extra couple hundred dollars! They've never done that before, but they've also gone through 3 Service Managers in the last year, so... who knows? Anyway, the car is running on the original battery AND alternator, just as long as I don't do something stupid like turn off the engine with all the electrical accessories going like mad! Maybe I can stretch this sucker out until I can afford a new battery! Man I hate being broke!

gosh I've done that a few times. I got used to carrying jumper cables with me, and parking in a busy place so I could beg for a jump start. hehehehehe
Me too Burf! So far, I haven't had to use them this week! (crossing fingers!)
