Anyone remember that corporate slogan? I can't remember if it was Sudafed or Sinutab back in the early nineties, but I liked it and haven't forgotten it. My reason for quoting it today is... I have a horrible head cold. I began to feel really poorly Thursday afternoon at work. That same day, over 5 people went home early due to illness, and several I talked to were seriously considering not coming in on Friday. I decided that I couldn't afford to take Friday off, but boy, do I wish I had! I don't remember much of the day, everything was kinda foggy, but I do remember the incredible pain in my left sinus cavities! I'm taking today and tomorrow to relax and try to get as much rest as I can. I fully plan on being back at work on Monday. Until I've worked 6 months there, I don't get paid sick days, so I plan on working as much as I can, even if I'm not feeling the greatest.
My daughters are off to a friend's birthday party at the local "Glow-in-the-Dark" mini-golf centre, and despite my cold, I've been delegated the chauffeur for the day. Should be fun with my less-than-perfect reflexes!

awwwwwwwww so sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. I have been stopping in to check for news of the new job. How is it going?? you still liking it?? Hope you are taking care not to hurt your shoulder....feel better and let us know how you are making out.
